Medication Management

My approach to medication management goes beyond simply writing a prescription; it is about helping you feel more balanced, empowered, and in control of your emotional well-being. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s degree from Walden University, I provide comprehensive care rooted in years of experience with diverse mental health challenges.

  • A Collaborative Partnership: We will work together to develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique goals, values, and lifestyle.
  • Balanced Care: I focus on pairing medication with brief psychotherapy to ensure your care is holistic and meaningful.
  • Telehealth Access: I am currently accepting new patients via telehealth, allowing you to receive professional support from the comfort of your own space.

Brief Psychotherapy

I provide brief psychotherapy that is compassionate, warm, and grounded in deep empathy. My goal is to create a welcoming and non-judgmental space where you feel safe to express yourself fully and share your experiences openly.

  • Active Listening: I take the time to truly listen to your story and understand your specific needs.
  • Safe Space: I strive to maintain a supportive environment where you can feel confident and secure throughout our work together.
  • Empowerment-Focused: Every session is designed to help you feel more in control of your journey toward healing and growth.

Diagnosis & Evaluation

Your first session is a dedicated time for us to build a foundation for your care in a supportive and comfortable environment. I specialize in evaluating individuals ages 16 and up who are navigating complex mental health concerns.

  • What to Expect: We will talk through your symptoms, history, and goals to ensure you leave the first session feeling heard and understood.
  • Clinical Clarity: You will receive a clear sense of the next steps in your care, including how medication or therapy can support you.
  • Broad Expertise: I provide evaluations for a wide range of conditions, including:
    • Mood & Anxiety: Anxiety, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder.
    • Trauma & Stress: PTSD, Grief, and Stress management.
    • Complex Conditions: ADHD, Schizophrenia, and Thinking Disorders.
    • Specialized Care: Support for First Responders, Veterans, and Women’s Issues.
